The impact Girls on the Run makes is dependent on dedicated volunteers like you, who are committed and passionate about our mission and vision.
Coaches are the heart of our program! Each season, two or more volunteer coaches inspire and guide a team through our tried-and-true curriculum. If you're ready to directly make an impact, then this role is for you.
Junior Coaches are needed to inspire the next generation! Our Junior Coach program is for high school girls aged 16 to 18. Beyond serving as a role model to program participants, Junior Coaches work alongside Coaches, strengthening their leadership skills and gaining a sense of belonging and purpose.

Our council is seeking volunteers who would like to become involved with our committees and our Board of Directors. Board members must have experience with Girls on the Run either through coaching, being a committee volunteer, a 5K volunteer, or other capacities. Skills needed are fundraising, leadership, strategic planning, governance, and events. Previous board experience a plus, but not required. Committees are Fund Development, Marketing, 5K, IDEA, Finance, and Governance.
Our council can create internship opportunities on an individual basis, helping you get the most out of your experience. Focus areas: volunteer recruitment, program support, marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, videography, operations, special events and fundraising.
